Drumming

Directly situated next to the tank pit, JPB Logistics has a drumming facility at their disposal which can be used for drumming into drums and IBC’s. The drumming facility contains a semi-automatic drumming machine for filling into 200 litre drums. The capacity of the machine is between 50 and 60 drums per hour (depending on the viscosity of the product). It is also possible to fill into 1000 litre IBC’s. The drumming can be carried out from both the bulk tanks as straight from the bulk tank wagon. The drummed off material can be stored in the fully isolated warehouse situated next to the drumming installation at a maximum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. 

Apart from the non hazardous goods we are permitted to drum off flammable liquids with an ignition point above 55 degrees Celsius, caustic substances and environmentally dangerous goods. When other dangerous goods need to be drummed off, this can be realised after technical modification of the drumming installation. Gasses that emerge during the drumming process, will be extracted to the gas washer.

Loading and unloading bulk products
The loading and unloading of bulk tank wagons will be carried out under a fully covered loading / unloading platform, where the process is fully automatic. Unloading will be carried out with the help of nitrogen. The capacity is 25m³ per hour, depending on the viscosity. Each tank has its own separate duct from the loading platform. With the help of the control program we can pre-set the required (un)loading volume. When the required volume has been reached, the process will terminate automatically.
